Bishop David Thomson at Magdalene Medievalists

On Tuesday, November 1st, at 6 pm, Bishop David Thomson will be giving a talk at Magdalene:

“New Light on an Old Window: the East window at Landbeach Church”.

Bishop David’s interests span the disciplines of theology, art history and English: he has written articles on topics ranging from the Cistercians in Wales to the iconography of the Bewcastle Cross, as well as a series of very popular devotional works. Other academic publications include ‘A Descriptive Catalogue of Middle English Grammatical Texts’ and ‘An Edition of the Middle English Grammatical Texts’. He is currently the Bishop of Huntingdon.

The talk will take place at Magdalene in the Parlour. Please join us for dinner afterwards at a local restaurant.
