Professor Simon Gaunt at Magdalene Medievalists

On Tuesday May 22nd, Professor Simon Gaunt will be speaking at Magdalene Society of Medievalists on:

‘French Abroad in the Middle Ages’.

Professor Gaunt currently occupies a chair of French Literature at King’s College, London.  His research interests encompass various aspects of French and Occitan medieval literature in conjunction with modern literary theory. Major monographs include Martyrs to Love: Love and Death in Medieval French and Occitan Courtly Literature, and Gender and Genre in Medieval French Literature.

The talk will take place at Magdalene, in the Parlour at 6pm. All are very welcome to join us for dinner afterwards at a local restaurant.
